NAU Archaeology is able to coordinate assessment, analysis and illustration of pottery of all major periods. Our in house expertise particularly focuses on pottery and other ceramics of the Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age.

As a Finds Specialist for NAU Archaeology Sarah is responsible for the analysis and publication of Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age pottery assemblages from across the region. With extensive publication experience Sarah regularly works as an external specialist for other archaeological units.

Sarah is also able to provide advice and analysis of fired clay structural pieces and objects, quern stones and briquetage (salt-making debris) of all periods and holds an MA in ‘The analysis of ceramic and lithic assemblages’ from Southampton University. Sarah is a member of The Prehistoric Ceramics Research Group, The Prehistoric Society, The Quern Study Group, The Neolithic Study Group and Norfolk and Norwich Archaeological Society.
